Cheaper than Hotels has allowed me to get information on various hotels across Europe and even to book online. It helped me with the facility of last minute booking. I had to visit three places with my family- London, Paris and Berlin. I failed to mention before that I and my wife are both historians. So what we searched for in these historical cities were basically inputs for our research studies and these three cities are storehouses of rich historical facts. We had got immense options to choose from among a number of Hotels in London.
We had chosen the Abcone Hotel in London. It is situated in Kensington. The hotel is situated near our (historians’) places of interest- London’s Natural History, Victoria & Albert and Science museums as well as Earls Court and Olympia exhibition centers . The hotel’s service men and women offered us privacy in the opresence of personal touch as well.
We next visited Paris and Ampere hotel was our choice. We had chosen this one because we came to know from the review at Cheaper than Hotels that this hotel is situated in a quiet place. We needed this to organize and consolidate our research papers and findings. The beautiful hotel building is surrounded by trees on all sides and the restaurant overlooks a beautiful garden where you can relax and get rejuvenated. Grand Esplanade Hotel had been our choice in Berlin while we searched through many options under Hotels in Berlin. When we were not writing a thesis we were just sitting in the window and looking at the blue river which passed by in front of the hotel. This was the most splendid and richest hotel in our entire tour. We literally forgot the work for which we visited those cities and got engaged in luxuries like Sauna, Spa, indoor swimming and my wife did a hell lot of shopping.
And we traveled from one city to another by driving the latest models of cars and we hired it through Cheaper than Cars. I did save much in comparison to the convenience and comfort which we received. With all these making our trip a luxurious one than a mere study tour, we at least remembered to bring few broken pieces of the historical Berlin Wall.
