Glistening Waters Restaurent was our destination where we having a heart meal which consisted of Ting, a citrus drink and plates of rice and peas. Some of my colleagues went for ginger beer while others strictly opposed this idea as they thought that much adventure is still ahead. We were heading towards the Luminous Lagoon of Glistening waters where the river Martha Brae meets the Carribean Sea. We also knew the strange myth associated with the river Martha Brae. We were waiting for the witch who drowned the Spanish Conquistadors who came in search of a gold mine by redirecting the course of this river aloong the caves! We really needed one, as we were all males in the team!
Coffee plantations and rainforests mark the Blue Mountains which consists of two ranges- the Central Range and the Port Royal mountains. We already came to know from our guide that these ranges are the houses of the strangest flora and fauna of the world and we even had the destiny to see the world’s second largest butterfly, papilio homerus. With a humble 89U.S. Dollar we could go biking downward with lunch and snacks to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Blue Mountains.
We stayed in a rental bungalow and many of our teammates tried venturing on their own including the Cockpit Caves which is a bit risky to explore without the local guides. Okay! Okay! I have given many hints and all these are the beauties of Jamaica and my only guide in this tour was Jamaica Guide.info. Have your puzzle been solved now?
