While I was looking for alernatives from receiving money from my paypal account , I found Xoom, you will receive your money within 4 days of transfer and the charges are low, you can even hand pick the cash using pickup code from the Insta Pick up location, or get a cheque couriered by them through Blue dart service, or you can deposit funds directly to your bank account using bank deposit. The fees are slight high ($9.99) when compared to paypal ($5) and low when compared to western union ($10).
you can track the status of your transaction at any point of time using the Tracking code provided by them during the transfer. also there is a toll free phone number for Indian customers for customer service.
