Zahra met with a betrayal- in fact two betrayals- at first by her own tamed dog, then by her fiancé. Zahra used to love intensely only twp living beings on this earth- Her blood hound Bamboo and her fiancé Mr. Belch. The first betrayal came from Bamboo. God knows in which mood was Bamboo in that terrified day. Zahra was bitten up by her own dog! He was bitten up on her face. She just saw that Bamboo jumped on her with deadly jaws wide open with anger. She fainted. When she awoke, she wanted to light a cigar. But, she found that she could not hold it in between her lips. She felt as if she had no lips at all. She looked through the mirror and to her horror; she found that her face was just a lump of flesh, with bones peeping underneath the damaged skin!


She rang her fiancé up to help her out of this dreadful accident. Mr. Belch came and could not withstand this horrible look of Zahra. He even made her feel very uncomfortable by comparing her with the ghosts of Michael Jackson’s album- Thriller. This was too much for this young woman. She shut himself completely in her house and alienated herself from the rest of the society.
