What is link building (reciprocal link building), how is it helpful

If you are studying about living organisms, but neglecting the hormones chapter, then I suspect you yourself are not a living being. This is contextual with studying SEO, but leaving an integral part of it- the link building, especially the reciprocal link building. Reciprocal link building is the trading of links between two websites unlike the non reciprocal ones which include articles, press releases and paid links. Essentially it's an "I'll post yours if you'll post mine" sort of arrangement.

There are many sites out there that will essentially link to any-and-all sites willing to link to them. There are some basic rules to follow when exchanging links. Relevancy is very important while exchanging links, it is more important than Page rank. The contents of the two websites must be similar; otherwise it is meaningless to have a higher page rank. Also, you have to check and make sure that the receipts are not blocked by unethical webmasters. Also, you should be prepared enough to tackle changes in the future to avoid a drop in the rankings and extra labor. So, build links carefully and consult http://www.beanstalk-inc.com/bsi/contact.htm
