Cricket is the craziest game in Indian subcontinent, Australia, Sri lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, New Zealand, Zimbabwe and England. Cricket is having less audience compared to soccer in worldwide.The revenues generated by cricket is seldom less than Soccer in the world wide. But the money from cricket is the only revenue that accounts for nearly 80% of total revenue obtained from sports in the above mentioned countries.
Recently, India has conducted a cricket series called IPL(Indian Premier League) involving cricket players from all over the world and accumulated nearly 20 billion indian rupees. The revenues speaks for the craze of the game and it is this revenue that is making Indian cricket control board BCCI a leader in the world cricket.
